Dug a token and this popped out....Indian item?

Hunting yesterday on a buddies land and got a good signal and this Proctor and Gamble token was in the hole. Was just about to fill it in when I noticed this....any ideas? It is stone and is 2-1/2” long and 2” square. Thanks for any info
 
Neolithic fishing weight?

That's what I'd use it for. Cool finds! Got two of those P&G tokens, myself..
 
Maybe the stone block was for rubbing hides? Just a guess, though. Like the token. HH jim tn
 
No, but it sure looks nice. Also most of the people back in the 1800's must have played the harmonica. I can't even whistle.
 
I’m no expert, but that looks like a fossil bone to me. Have it checked at your nearest university

I agree, it does look like a fossilized bone! Very cool Token too!
 
Sounds strange, but this is from the fossil forum:
"Touch it with ur tongue and see if it sticks, phosphates in a bone will make ur tongue stick"
