Dug a Tribe of Injuns in the field today

all finds today were found with two tone ferrous because these field sites are IRON infested!
buddy and I hunted two fields today where old homesteads used to be, we found them on an 1886 map. First site yeilded me 3 indians and the V nickel, and my buddy got hungry so we took a donut break...lol

next field I found 2 more indians for a total of 6 for the day. I don't remember ever digging 6 indians in a field in one day. I got:
1865, 1874, 1875, 1876, 1887, and 1905....man I was so close to some real key dates today!!!! I included a dirty pic for those who like that type of stuff..lol....and I will be going back, hoping to find some seated silver there!

for field indians they turned out pretty decent, the farmer was 81 yrs old and said he does not remember a house ever being there so it has been farm ground for a LOT of yrs!

I like injuns but somthing about those V nickles thats just cool...wish we had more noteable coins nowadays. Great show n tell Goes, that TTF rocks for you dont it?

TTF is the only way to hunt these farm fields in my opinion, I tried conductive yesterday and just got nothing. These fields have been plowed for yrs and the iron from the old homestead is just drug everywhere!!!!
