A while ago,I put up a bird feeder outside, didn't take the squirrells long to figure out how to open the door to put the feed in,and climb INTO the bird feeder........One day,I watched a squirrell climb down the tree the bird feeder was in,and get up next to where the feeder is secured to a branch, about 2 ft from the trunk of the tree. The wind was blowing, bird feeder swaying back and forth.Squirrell watched the birdfeeder swaying, and figured out when the birdfeeder was closest to the tree trunk in its' movements, then jumped from the tree onto the bird-feeder......AMAZING animals..........................
