The way the Explorer is really pushed to second best in that text Jeb who would want the not so long ago...............SUPER SE PRO I have an E-trac and totaly agree it is a learning curve for me and i know the explorer inside out. I also don't doubt the E-trac for me is a definate upgrade..........dunno about Deeper etc due to our bad weather at the weekend i hardly got a chance. Even if its not deeper it is a very nice detector.

Colin, if you can Master the workings of the DFX then you will with the E Trac eventually . It`s like anything else. It takes patience and Time.
Wer`e ALL new users to the E Trac and its proving a joy & challenging experience.

And for those hero`s, who say they just get hold of an E Trac and use it "proficiently" from the off , are ******* !! Well , we get them sort over here too ,don`t we ? Any one can pick one up and use it in Pre sets and cherry pick.

Yip its a different beast from the Explorers and I am really enjoying the challenge. i was getting bored with the same old glad it came along.
