E-trac.........problems?

prester

New member
E-trac user for one year and two problems.
-1 -, E-trac no power, no power to change batteries, the local dealer changed a new e-trac.
-2, New e-trac, two hours of use, and bad sound speaker, "distorted" Feature headphones However, the local dealer changed a new e-trac.

I have fear of new problems, it is usual problems in e-trac?
thanks

I guess I've never had a problem with mine in over 200 hrs. prester. Hope it gets straightened out for you. Sounds like you have good local dealer!

Very few problems reported for E-Tracs and far from "usual".Do a search of this forum to verify.I have one of the E-Tracs from first shipment to hit our shores with many hundreds of hours use with zero issues.I use hard and take no special care of it at all.It stays in my car year round except for a couple months in the winter and has been hauled about 40,000 miles and is not even in a case.

I am sure there will be an issue now and then as with any high tech electronic instruments but it is a very small percentage of total sold.
It would be interesting to actualy know what is wrong with many those machines traded out at the local dealers.I suspect a good percentage have a battery issue, operator error or similar perceived problem and are "fixed" by the dealer and sold as a demo unit.I know this to be the case with a few E-Tracs.

my etrac is in Ireland for repair. It wouldn't switch off so I had to remove the battery and thenit wouldnt switch on the next day

Thanks for your comments, I more relaxed,
I have a bad luck .....
I have new e-trac replaced, I have good luck, I am optimistic
