Well after 12 years of using fishers I now have a brand new e-trac on its way to my house. I have the book by Andy Sabich coming with it. Should all be here Thursday. I'm excited. Like a kid waiting on xmas. So any advice for me to try and remember as im running out the door with it to play in the yard

Turn it on and dig.

Move a bit slower than you might normally. Keep sensitivity on auto and just adjust things like threshold and volume. I like 4 tones over multi, and ferrous over conductive. Have fun!
