Anyone remember how to do a factory reset on the Eagle 2 ?
I tried that but I thought there was a way to reset with the pushpadsThink it will be the same as on the XLT/DFX.
Switch the detector on and while it is on take out batteries.
Hope that helps.
I think you’ve found the problem yourself.I tried that but I thought there was a way to reset with the pushpads
The screen is frozen with everything lit up
I tried sliding the battery in and out a number of times and I got it to work but if I shut it off have to slide battery in and out a few times to get it to kick on.
Must be a bad connection possibly
I believe the ribbon contacts need cleanedI think you’ve found the problem yourself.
I would buy some contact cleaner from a hardware or auto supply store.
I usually spray the stuff into a small cup, dip a cotton swab into it, and then use the swab to clean the contacts.
That way, I don't get too much of it inside the device.
If that doesn't do the trick, simply use a brand-new set of batteries.
But I think you'll be out hunting soon.
