Is that an I button? I guess you had a great day my friend! So what is the large triangle piece?
Thanks buddy. Yes it's a Eagle I button. I was in my good Confederate spot in Gettysburg. I rolled the button out & though it was Reb. Oh well It's a survivor. I had the triangle thing ID & was told it's a ear off of a pale. I belong to a few groups on FB & it's like asking the oracle of Delphi lol. All knowing all seeing lol. Take care buddy & HH

What a great day out Digger! You have some really nice CW History and Saves. Congrat's, and keep it up. Is that an "I" barely visible in the shield of the eagle button, or am I seeing things? Love all those Gardiner bullets.

Definitely a bucket attachment. Good heavy brass. Found one not too long ago myself. Cool finds!

Funny that was what I was thinking about a bucket attachment.
That's what I'm told it is. It was in a pasture right behind a barn. The barn thats there wasn't there during the battle. It shows houses & out buildings In the same spot though. All I know is it was loaded with dumped Confederate lead. These are from this area. Big staging spot, hospitals & waggon park. Im just cleaning up after the old timers.
