General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Eagle II SL

I bought an Eagle II SL awhile back and was planning on getting into doing this. The health thing took a turn for the worse not long after and it doesn't look like I will be using this after all. I don't remember much about what I was told regarding this particular unit. Can I get some info from anyone that can tell me exactly what I have here in case I finally decide to just sell it. I want to try and at least get my money back out of it but need to know how to advertise it regardless of what I might ask for it. I also have a White's Eagle Spectrum with a bunch of goodies with that too that I will probably sell too if I decide to sell this one. I never really took that one out either except for trying to learn the machine in the back yard and the local park once. I was going to just put the smaller Eagle in the back of the car to have with me if I ever found myself somewhere that looked interesting enough to want to check it out..
anyway,.... any help will be appreciated...

Eagle SL is a pretty nice detector. Photos always help in selling. Price ranges tremendously on condition and history.
An ebay search for completed auctions might help you decide on a price. This is a 90's detector but it seems like
one shows up on the classifieds every third or fourth week. Good luck, and let us know what you decide.

I have a Whites Eagle 11 SL also. I haven't used it much but seems to be a good one. I notices the same unit sold on ebay last week for 209.00 plus 18.00 shipping. Hopes this helps.
 
Thanks, but that is much lower than what i paid as well as the prices i have seen as comleted auction sold amounts that i have done in some places including ebay.
i just never was sure if i did good when i picked it up or not by what i paid for it... thank you

I was also thinking that I would not see anyone that has been involved in this hobby for some time that would not be as willing to pay the price I did but would be looking for a deal. Nothing wrong with that, just an observation. I thought it was a fair price for what I was getting and taking into consideration what I had been told about the unit, overall condition, hours on it, extras, etc....
