Hunted an old plantation site the other day with DigginDeepSouthLA. Here are my finds...."Batwing" - smith's carbines, flat based sharps carbine along with a sharps and hankins, other minie balls, pistol bullets , brass button piece, brass ring, suspender buckle, iron piece ?? etc. Not a bad day....MERRY CHRISTMAS. Nice lead. Love the "batwing". Have only found one in all my years of hunting and it was broken.
