Early Morning Surgery

By 8:30am this morning, my dermatologist had removed the cancer and I now wait to see if she got it all. Here's hoping!

At 10:00am, the nurse came to inform me that the doctor had gotten all the cancer out and to prep me for closure. By 10:25, I was on my way back home. Other than a nasty headache, I'm doing well. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

We've all heard it said, "All is well that ends well" and that's pretty much the case today. The pressure bandages came off easily this morning to reveal a 2" long scar and, if it's anything like the surgery on the other side of my face done last month, it will disappear in no time. It's tender this morning but in a few days, the pain will go away. I find it so funny that the Dr. Ang used surgical glue to put me back together but she sure is good at what she does and I'm delighted she's my doctor. Don't need to return until February. Hooray!
