I found this awesome portrait on glass today. Running mixed mode stereo, it has a copper or brass band around it that has a little of the gold plate left. I found it within the first hour of our 5.5 hour hunt. Its a really trashy area with iron every where but almost all the targets are old or turn of the century. There are almost zero coins in this logging camp. I found one fairly recent wheat cent drop last time there.

Im so happy I was using a relic shovel and dug a big hole.....:clapping:

There are old large caliber rimfires and turn of the century brass every where. Pocket watches, occasional tokens, clock parts, rings, but just no silver coins to be found. It looks like it was hunted hard in the 70's and they got all the coins. But they didnt go after medium conductors so maybe a gold coin will show itself.

Was running the 15x12 when I found the picture and then switched out to the 10x12 in the trashy area. When compared to all my other coils it absolutely made this site come to life with new targets appearing everywhere.

Your portrait on glass is just awesome! Amazing detail! I want one.:clapping:
