Earring hunt

I stop in at home today to find a message on my machine...from a guy that let me detect in his yard. First thing I think is, "OH NO. He didn't like the way I replaced the plugs."

NOPE. He lives across the street from the Football Field/Track. He saw several girls crawling around on the ground like they were looking for something. Apparently, while horsing around, one of the girls lost an earring. He thought I might be able to help.

So...I put on my 5x10 coil and made a couple of quick passes. I had to get back to work, but intended to spend a couple of hours looking before dark. Had an emergency at work and didn't get back until 10pm. I'm tired, but I put on my headlamp and I look for an hour anyway. Nothing yet.

I probably won't be able to hunt tomorrow before it snows(I'm REALLY ready for summer), but it's supposed to be nice again on Sunday.

At least it's easy to grid. The yard lines on the football field are still visible.

......good luck mate.....hope you find it!!!

I found a guys wedding ring a few years ago whilst on holiday.....sorry....vacation!!!
He lost it whilst whilst paddling in the sea with his daughter. Miracle I found it but I did..!!!!!
It was worth it just to see the look on his face after it popped up from the wet sand.......
