Easter pageant went well, some got saved.

[attachment 123459 JoanandDougEasterpageant20091.jpg]The Easter pageant went well. We made it through all the performances with very little mis-cues. Praise God for satan being bound from disrupting the presentation. All performed their parts, the technical aspects went almost flawless, the attendance was almost packed out each presentation, and I didn't fall the 25 feet from the small catwalk that I used to stand on to hoist the man portraying Jesus, as he was ascending into "Heaven" at the close of the presentation. Most important of all, many got saved,(don't have total yet) but praise God that many accepted Christ. Many made a re dedication to Christ, some who had been saved for awhile, but had drifted away from the Lord, but He called them back and they responded. Even though our associate Pastor, Tim, is moving to Michigan in a couple of weeks, he never slacked up in organizing this pageant. Have some pictures to post later, but here is one of Joan and I before Saturdays first presentation. Thank you for your prayers. Continue to pray for those who got saved, those who watched but did not respond right then, that God would work on their hearts to see their need for Christ. I believe that God had each person there for a reason.

that's great! We had our Easter concerts (choir / orchestra) last weekend and quite a few indicated that they'd received Christ. It's a tough world out there and and I think people are realizing that the can't make it on their own.
