Electric outage last night and oxy concentrators quick working ....

had to get up and shut the noise off.....as it screams and beeps until it is reset but with electric off....we had to turn them off! Then early morning an Earthquake hit near Bloomington, IL, which we felt a 100 miles away! It caused damages in Indiana, Tennesee, IL and MO. I believe my home is okay but not sure as it started raining mixed with snow since early morn and I haven't been outside to check! An old, old bridge had some damage and it is being checked out to see whether they may close it and build a new one! Too many old brick home and old, old bridges here and all across America!

After the electric came back on and Cliff turned his oxygen back on, Tara woke him up by scratching the side of his bed and woke him up....she usually does that if she needs to go to the potty really bad, but she wouldn't go outside and just a little later is when the earthquake shook and felt the tremor with more tremors later on! Was a 5.2 and glad it wasn't a bigger quake to cause moe damages then what it did! It was near the New Madrid fault which only quakes now and then with long times between!

Well, Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for protecting us and keeping us from harms and damages! I pray everything is well with all my forum brothers and sisters!

God Bless!

I'm so glad to know that you are all OK

Thanks, Lorraine! We are okay and been raining all day but that's the usual these days! The Mallards are out in the Common Ground again along with lots of black birds.....I guess the worms and bugs are coming out of the soaked soil! The Mallards and birds have been eating their fill today! :)

God Bless!

Thanks Steve! Yes, we are still living and able to move these tired bodies! :)

Very Glad all is well with you. Being in cali I know how scarey an earthquake can be. Hope your house is free of damage. God Bless.

Oh yes,Joe, .......back in the 90's a person by the name of Brown predicted a huge Earthquake from the New Madrid Fault like it did in the 1800's. Not sure of the exact year, but they must have thought the world was coming to an end, as the Mississippi River ran backwards and spewed up big trees like Tinker Toys....along with gushers of water! Many people were getting earthquake ins after that but still hasn't hit like Mr. Brown was saying! I was carrying coverage even before then with 2% deductible of total cost of damages if one damaged my home but now it is 10%! Still better than paying the whole cost of an earthquake loss though! I just keep praying for God's protection over me and my home and my loved ones, too, of course! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus! :)

God Bless! and hope you and Vicky are doing well and Happy Hunting for that elusive gold and diamonds!
