I was detecting a ball field that had a lot of lighting and a big transformer. My v3i was acting crazy. I can deal with that but my head phones kept shutting off changed batteries but still kept shutting off. Anyone else have the same problem ?

Howdy Nodrog58--

Yes, I have hunted in areas with bad emi. These are the solutions that I have found to be effective:
Reduce sensitivities
Change frequency - sometimes single frequency works best
Use the 4x6 DD coil

Some areas may be unhuntable due to a combination of emi and extreemly high trash.

Best of luck and...
