Energizer Lithium Ultimate batteries

New member
Hi,
Can anyone tell me if you can use the Energizer Lithium Ultimate batteries (4 x AA) in the AT Pro? The new batteries that I have tested read 1.8 volts when new instead of the usual 1.6 volts like the Energizer Max.
Thanks.

John, I use them in my 2500 (:geek:, Ace 250 and AT Pro. I buy them at flea markets when available for $2.50/4-pk, and buy all I can find, since their shelf life is incredible. They give great results, far better than alkalines. HH. Jugg.

Do these batteries make the detector perform better with the higher voltage or does the AT have some kind of voltage regulator in it?
