I hope this helps Dadsnorz and it is more able to be viewed? Back is very corroded on the MK & T token! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

It Looks like some pretty old script on the MKT Token. Definately Katy Railroad Scripting. No telling what it was used for back in the day. You might try posting it on the WHATSIT category on this website to find out more about it. The location of the hole almost makes me think it was to identify supplies or ownership, but who knows. Good Luck.

Thanks Dadsnorz! I hope I get it cleaned up better without ruining it, but just to know it pertains to the MK & T rail line is nice as it pertains to history! We have the Katy Trail in the Counties pertaining to the old railroad tracks removed and paved for biking and hiking trails! Haven't been on the trial but must be nice for others! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Hi Mike and Terry---- I've found a few, but don't know how many until I get everything sorted in their own group of a kind! I like all my finds good and not so good, and I've dug lots of trash....put it in my apron or plastic bag tied to my belt holding the tool carrying bag, but usually dumped it several times in trash cans if there were any where I was :detecting: if not, then I discarded the stuff in my trash bag at home! Have lots of metal scrap of all kinds too inluding collecting aluminum cans! Turned in several bags of cans and rec six $2.00 bills ($12.00 total) several years ago and also got rid of some metal when my ex took them to the scrap dealer....don't remember how much we rec that time! I really enjoyed going detecting and sure would like to now, but just unable to do so because of my ill health! Picked up and put into a yardwaste bag the old growth out of my front flower bed and could hardly get out of bed and walk....my right knee wouldn't move easily and almost fell but finally got it to where I could walk and move easier! All I can say is: Enjoy life now and do what you like, because no one knows what will be when a person gets older! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
