Well 17 of the 30 posts on the front page of the Minelab Explorer section are dedicated to the E-Trac, 18 of 30 if you count this post!

So, it is getting a bit hard to "ignore" the e-trac posts. (some even do not have the words "e-trac" in the subject, gasp!) While I'm not going to demand that people not post about it, I also don't plan on buying an E-trac in the near future. Since I'm not going to be buying one, I'm not too interested in "window shopping" for one while I'm forum hopping. (read into that comment as, it'll make having no cash for a new toy even more painful!) When it is time to upgrade, I'm sure I'll be looking into the e-trac. By then FindMall will have a new section on E-trac. I only hope it's sooner than later.
I did put in a "contact us" ticket asking if they plan to create a new forum topic, as most agree, this is definately not an Explorer.
Anyway, I've been glossing over this section of late, taking most of your above advice well before it was given and not really bothering to visit it. While I can't condone the manner in which TominPA made his post, which was most abrasive, I thought I should chime in and note that other(s) feel the content is getting a bit lopsided. Also, like with anything new, or with change, people tend to fear it. When that happens, you get a lot of posts that are negative/whiny. Even skimming through the subjectst trying to find posts on an Explorer, I can't stop myself from thinking Je$#%@#%@, you are lucky enough to have $1500 laying around to buy a new toy and you're complaining? Perhaps that's my issue!
Anyway, take care, and please, if you are un-happy with your e-trac, PM me and I'll provide you with ship to information. I'll even pay for shipping.
