Having just compared our relationship to God with that of sons and heirs, Paul now elaborates on this metaphor by including the theme of inheritance in Galatians 4:1
 
Little children have the faith in their father and mother that they will be loved and taken care of and I have believing faith in my Heavenly Father that He loves me and will take care of me, although I go through many trials, as long as I endure and overcome them with Christ Jesus i will increase in faith and lean on and trust in Him more and more!
