Enuff with the overtime........day off and headed for the beach

J-man and I packed up and left home before work could call me in for more overtime. Rare sunshine today.......we've done our 40 days and nights of rain. Arrived at high tide, so we dry sanded for a while.......got lucky with paper and clad and I found a nice Tiffany & Co. .925 ring. Got a "what is it" in the water. The more I rubbed on it, the shinnier it became with a golden color. It had been in the sand and muck for a very long time. It is heavy but no markings and turns out to be an elephant's head on top of the country of India. Now......FYI you relic hunters.......people from India love their gold and do not mark it, often it is 22k. It is very heavy for it's size. Naturally I have to order more solution for my gold tester to be sure exactly what it is!!
