Environmental cover for 2500

After using my GTI2500 a short while, I bought the rain cover, just in the off-chance
of being caught in a downpour. Then I started using it to keep dirt out of the push-
buttons. Hot weather finally arrived here in NC, and the best use for the cover so far
has been to keep sweat off of the screen. I can just imagine the Garrett folks taking
the control housing apart and seeing the results of sweat getting past the pushbuttons
and around the sides of the screen........"Yeah, sure, you didn't drop this in the ocean!"
Anyway, it was an excellent investment.

I got one for my 1500

cut a small slit in it so the cable can
run thru it to the housing...

works great and makes me feel better
on those lousy kinda days..

I too have one and use it for those rainy or windy days. Great investment, and it works better then a plastic bag. :)
