Equinox maiden voyage today in frozen ground

New member
Equinox maiden voyage today. Ground is still frozen, but had to get out and try her. Silver in the plug.
Not a great hunt, but ill take it!

Any hunt that snags a silver coin is a good hunt in my book.

Especially on a maiden voyage with a new detector. Good job.

Excellent! I found silver dimes and a Great Seal button the other day as well! Looks like the Equinox has a nose for silver and brass buttons, that’s very promising for a relic hunter like me who also loves finding old coins!!

Good job! Can the Equinox tell the difference between silver coins and bent, rusty nails, though--that is my question? My Etrac is pretty good in ID'ing high-conductive coins but some of those bent, rusty nails can fool it...
