Eric or Mr.Bill...Tweaks ?

Gentleman,in the near future I will be purchasing an AquastarII and have a question. I am sure that the genius Eric has designed and tuned this unit to work in a variety of soils and conditions, for example: Terry's volcanic soils and interference,other parts of the world where there are highly mineralized soils, black sands etc..In my part of the world, west coast of Florida, south of Tampa there is no soil mineralization or other interference here whatsoever. My question is this: is it possible to have yourself or Mr. Bill tweak or adjust the Aquastars internals to these conditions? Thanks in advance ! ED.

You have all the controls needed, built in, to handle any "tweaking" one may require. The Aquastar is user adajustable for these "Tweaks"

Hi Edward,
Nowhere is completely free of interference or mineralisation. Tampa has an airport with all the usual radio transmitters, and the sand at the water's edge will be saturated with conductive salt water, which is a form of mineralisation. As Mr Bill says, there are user adjustable controls inside the Aquastar that enable the operator to set the detector up the best for the local conditions. Sometimes it means reducing sensitivity or speeding up the SAT. Other times you can run things flat out. There is an external frequency control for combating r.f. interference, an internal switch for reducing transmitter power, and a choice of two audio tones plus a volume control. There are no other practical ways of tweaking the Aquastar.
