How does one download and load the Andy Sabisch coin program into the Etrac. I have tried searches and have not been too successful.

Thanks

Down about the middle of the page. Its been a while since I loaded it. Just make sure you know where it is when you save it on your computer. I get in a hurry and forget where I put it.

I have done that and got the Andy Sabisch in my Etrac as a pattern file, where I get confused is do I just run this pattern or how do I make it a mode? Sorry if this does not make sense. I quess what I am asking is what is difference between modes and patterns?

No it makes sense. Patterns are just the discrimination part on the screens. Modes have to do with different settings, like variability and limits and what not. So you'll have to see what you are accustomed to as far as your mode settings. I saved my own modes based on what my ears like, but I use Andy's pattern. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask away if you're still having trouble setting it up.

If you load Andy's Pattern (.ptrn file) on your E-Trac, open it up on the E-Trac, adjust the settings however you want them and then just save as one of your modes. That way, you have Andy's discrimination pattern and all the settings you like saved as a mode that you can open and use whenever you like.

Thanks Neb and Idaho, I think I understand it a bit more thanks to you responses and re-readings Andy's book on that subject. man there is a lot to learn.
