ETRAC running smooth and deep now

Hello all,
I posted a while back I was having troubles with my Etrac. With everyone's help I figured it had to be a bad coil. I just received my new 12"x15" SEF coil yesterday evening. I just gave it a quick run for about an hour and WOW! What a difference, the Etrac is smooth and stable. The tones come though clean and crisp and target separation was no problem. NOW I know why the Etrac is the best around. I'm not sure what was wrong with my coil that came with the detector, but signals were erratic, choppy and it didn't detect much beyond 6"s. I went to a spot I knew targets were going to be deep. It does great. I can even block out most iron, or at least identify it. Can't wait to go back to the places I been and try again.
I never could understand why my 6" coil worked great, but the 11" was just awful.
Hopefully I will be posting some finds of my own soon and not just drool over everyone else finds.
Thanks Everyone,
LR
