Etrac's first 1700's coin

My old Explorer II had no problem sniffing these out but this was the Etrac's first one. I'm not sure of the variety, the back is pretty far gone and I can barely get a date but it looks like 1771 Settings: coin mode, semi auto +3 (was running at around 21) deep on ( this was only about six inches deep), 4 tones, ferrous sounds.

 Some day i hope to dig one! Jeff, why do you use Ferrous over Conductive sounds? I still have alot to learn and experment but so little time:sad:

I use ferrous since I will often switch from coin mode to all metal to check a target. The low sound of iron helps me to distiguish between a possible coin and nearby iron.
