Eureka Gold And Discrimination Question

RELIC_HUNTER

New member
Everyone satisfied with this setting for coin, jewelry and other forms of detecting other than for gold. If not, what would be the biggest drawback....

30 views from so called Eureka users and not a single answer...You asked a very hard question for these arm chair users....The discrimination is a Quick Response and a so. so, Fast Recovery Speed....An area with up to medium trash, excellent machine...Other than that, the machine is worthless...

You ever stop to consider that maybe the 30 viewers have never used a Eureka? If you do not like the people on this forum feel free to go somewhere else.

The discrimination on the Eureka Gold is only effective on ferrous targets and treats all non-ferrous targets the same. As such it is of little use to most traditional detectors users. Coin hunters would have to dig all aluminum targets. The circuit adjusts itself automatically for ground conditions and reports back on targets it is unsure of, giving false positives on many ferrous targets. It does this to be on the safe side while prospecting, but again may not be what a relic hunter, for instance, would be looking for. All in all a machine best left to those who want to dig all targets or at most use minimal ferrous discrimination.
