Eureka...Now I Can Actually Hear the Flutey Silver Sounds

You guys are awesome...thank you. I tried increasing variability from 8 to 10 this evening. I could actually hear the difference between a clad dime and a merc. The merc truly did sound just like a flute whereas the clad sounded with a lower less flutey tone...a wheatie and an IH were also much more distinct...the EX II is an amazing machine...HH

But when stuff is in the ground the differences can be less apparent. There will still be just kick ass sounding targets but don't not dig a target because you think it is a wheatie or clad dime versus silver.

Half worn flat seated and barber dimes sound different than one in XF condition and half dimes are also a bit lower. That said, silver does seem to have something in the tone that says silver even if its a few pitches lower or ID'ing out in lala land.
