Euro Tek Pro

Whats the story on this detector?? I cant find where it says it is a Target ID detector as far as visual, I believe it is audio ID and don't see where it is visual ID.
Is it a good detector for coins and relics and one I could recommend for a newbie to use to see if they will like the hobby or not.

Thanks
Rick

Hi Rick, Look back 5 or 6 weeks in the forum, the Euro was all over the net, but don,t here anything much anymore. I do think it has VDI,s to let you know what you found. Flintstone

Hi Rick,
The Eurotec Pro has both tone id and a Target ID number.
I would recommend it to a beginner.

If you go to the Tek website, they have the info up.

I bought one recently from a member but have not had the time to really use it , but the little I have used it , it seems to be a pretty capable unit , but I believe it is a good unit for a beginner . Turn on and go , lightweight , I've got a vacation coming up next week and i'm definetly going to put it and my others to use . it may be a little late but i'll let you know how it goes .

You'll get ID numbers and there's listings of typical targets that match certain number ranges. It seems to coincide with the ID system of other Tek machines, so it's consistent when you switch to different model. There's a few added nuances to the tones as you change the disc setting. Fast machine, that counts for a lot, plus it's affordable. You can upgrade later to a T2 and not feel totally lost as there are similarities and would make a great backup to the T2.
