Eurotek hunt

Got to hunt a local school and found a couple rings for my mom. She collects any kind of ring.
This is a very fun machine to use.

Deepest coin was a dime at 5", but I dug several old beer pull tabs with the tails attached at over 6". The dirt at this school has been moved around so I'm not sure how the tabs got that deep. Eventhough this machine runs at a low frequency it is more sensitive to the lower conductors. In air test there is a 5 1/2% gain in coil to target audio responses of targets below an ID of 59. A nickel will air test to a greater distance than a silver dollar. Personally I'd rather find one gold ring over a silver dime or quarter any day.

I really like the beefed up cable on this 8 in. concentric as that was a gripe I had on the Delta. I haven't hunted with it yet but will as soon as the rain stops I'm going hunting . I know one thing the 8 in. coil on my Omega makes it super deep and stable as it will airtest out to 12 inches on a dime now. It seems the new coil is much better around EMI. I really like the tone volume also as the Omega doesn't have enough and the Eurotek Pro has plenty.

I have both coils but the 11" DD gets the best air test results.
I might add the 8" concentric coil is not as affected by EMI like the 11" DD coil is.

I need a lightweight backup to my Russian detectors. While they are deep as any othe ID machine going...I am not as much of a fan of them in heavy trash. They work well but not like a Teknetics...plus they are like swinging any other larger machine.
Sometimes I just want a smaller quick turn on machine for cellar holes and for checking new sights real quick without having to break out the big boys.
