Eurotek Pro finds this morning

I got a 30 minute hunt in before the rains came this morning. No great finds but the stuff I found was in heavy iron and had been
missed by my other detectors I have ran over this spot previously. Here's my meager finds from my yard.....1957 dog tag, mother of pearl pocket knife,
national padlock key, toy motorcycle, token good for one loaf of bread, junk kids ring, and a piece of a pocket watch. Target depths were from about 5 to 7 inches.

My settings were disc 0...sens 8...vol 11.....the detector hit hard on the targets with loud volume and iron was a faint background sound....very nice feature.
The Eurotek Pro ran quiet and targets locked on very well, much better than any digital detector I have ever tried before. I'm not sure what First Texas did to the
circuitry in this detector, but it works great. You can totally silence the iron and still run zero disc or hear the iron faintly while targets are loud. You just have to try it to
see how well it works in an iron infested site. If you are sitting on the fence deciding whether or not to buy one of these detectors, you might wanna go ahead and get one
because I think after a few guys review the detector and tell how well it works in iron, they may be hard to get from being back logged with demand. For two C notes you can't go wrong.....HH

Nice collection of things, and not missed by you. That varied assortment indicates ( to me) that the Eurotek Pro does and will identify interesting signals in tough conditions. Thanks for the post. HH

Just a question....which coil were you using?
Thanks, Pete
Hi Pete, Roger has the 8" coil. Glad it worked well for you Roger.

Pete, I was using the 8" concentric coil....I have good ground here in Illinois and it works fine here.
If you have bad ground it may not be the best choice.....HH

Hey Hal, You wasn't kidding when you told me I would like the detector. I really like the iron feature on the detector.
The stuff I found came from an area I had been over with several good detectors and they couldn't pull the targets out of the junk
like the Eurotek Pro did..........HH

Cool finds!! I like that odd and end stuff you found. Yes your right, these eurotek pros are gonna be pretty hot. I took and done some of my own target testing with a large piece of iron with several items like 1/2 of a civil war button back, zinc penny and a 58 caliber minnie all right next to a large rusted up square nail. I took 2 other machines in the same price range which includes the ace 350, whites coinmaster pro and 1 more expensive machine which was a whites coinmaster GT and went over each target I had next to the large square nail. Well all items except for the 1/2 civil war button back sounded the eurotek pro off next to the iron but once I moved it out about 2 inches from the iron, the eurotek pro sounded off on the 1/2 button back and that was with both the concentric coil and the 11" DD. All of the others flunked the test!!! Well I believe this is about the best bang for the buck out there at the moment. And if you already have some of the greek coils on hand from other teknetic units then you can just buy the regular eurotek pro with the 8" stock coil and save a little money then go out and have a blast. Now do not get me wrong, I still love the Omega and been thinking of getting the G2 as well in a month or so. We will see. HH guys, Tim

My friends son used my Eurotek Pro today during a group hunt and he liked it. He did well on clad and nobody found silver in the hunt. I think it is a logical backup to the Deus because it is lightweight, fast, and seems to have decent depth. I'm gonna try to take it on a solo hunt this weekend.

Thanks Steve and Roger,
I'm hoping my E Pro will arrive soon....soil where I live (in Aus) is not too bad, so I am hoping the concentric coil will work well. I can always try a dd on it if I need to, or the conditions are mor suitable to a dd. Thanks again guys.
