Does anyone know if their is a GB trim pot inside a Eurotek pro? Mine is setup way to positive

Found it, 3 screws a small adjustment and now the Eurotek pro has a slightly negative ground balance and responds a lot better to my test garden coins.

good to hear....Euro-Tek Pro is a great little detector....found lots of silver with it:)

I got one of these for my wife and it seems to run well, but I always like having the ability to dial in the GB.

Any way to drill a hole in the housing to make it an external GB adjustment?

Thanks,
Brian

I suppose you could it takes a very small straight blade screwdriver to fit the pots slot also just a very small adjustment. In my case our soil stays pretty constant where once I set the GB its good to go. You might want to try that first before you void the warranty.

Did mine today,it was waaayyy positive and now spot on.
Very easy to do. Clock wise is positive/c.c is neg.

Simple fix for sure. I believe that way too positive setting was for the European market at least that's the possible reason.

I backed mine down to a neutral gd in pinpoint as per Monte but found it to sound of hematite so I reground balanced to just barely be above ground minerals, makes a big difference. I'm digging more non ferrous than ever in small areas,my plugs literally over lap but there will be a non ferrous in the nails every time. Pulling a boat load of nails but yet still get a n.f out.
