Eurotek Pro

Last night I had a chance to try out a Eurotek Pro owned by a friend. We were at my house and only had less than 45 minutes so I was not expecting much of anything. The detector worked perfectly and I was amazed at how accurate the numbers were on targets from 2 to 6 inches. When it said junk, it was junk and when it was an 82-84 it was a copper memorial penny. 77-78 zinc.Any numbers in the 60's were tabs. It has huge numbers and it ignored all of the rusty building debris from when my house was built. The iron icon worked like a charm and I did not dig one piece of rusty iron. A couple of the pennies were 5 to 6 inches deep with a perfect, repeatable, high tone. This detector is on par with most of the mid priced detectors I have tried and to think it costs less than300 bucks! First Texas hit a home run with this one.

Agreed, it's a good little detector.

It is what it is..and has a place in our detecting community for casual detecting.

Elton: have you tried one? Which one. It's a WHOLE LOT more than you are saying.

Yes tried a friends for about an hour.. I didn't say either way. Just thanked RLOH for his nice evaluation. and stated it is a nice lower price detector.... average
6" depth is pretty decent I feel. It is for Hobby casual detecting in my opinion, that's all I meant.
