Eurotek question

I have my Eurotek Pro on order (thanks Bart), but this question is about the standard Eurotek model. I am thinking about getting one for the kids in the future. Not many videos out there for this model. I did find one in another language. In the video he showed the back of the head unit, and the coil plug looks like it is the push in style. I then looked in the online manual, and it is a push in style there too. Wondering if the Bounty Hunter coils will work on this machine? Thoughts?

Euroteks use the Fratbros (Greek) searchcoil series. Make sure you get the right plug for the metal detector model in question (this series of searchcoils is available with both plug styles).

Very confusing. Are the plugs different on the Eurotek Pro and standard Eurotek? Does one use a push-in and the other a screw on?

I have the Eurotek Pro and it has a screw on plug like the F75 and Gold Bug Pro.
I don't know about the green Eurotek.

Yes, the plugs are different. The Eurotek uses a plug in style connector. The Eurotek Pro uses a threaded connector.

Mike is correct. Sort of odd why they did this. Seemed they got away with the push in plugs with the Fishers now they are doing it again

The difference is about $2 in materials cost...which is probably about a 10% difference on the Eurotek. A Eurotek user is less likely to be an avid detectorist and get more coils. It's all a numbers game and another way to differentiate the two.
