Eurotek surprised me

My wife and I went detecting yesterday at a school that we have been to a number of times, she was using the Eurotek (Pro with 11"DD coil) and I was using my Tesoro Tejon. I had a hit with my Tejon that I knew was deep as it was a very faint but repeating signal, I yelled to my wife hey come here a minute and run your coil over this, I was interested if the Eurotek would pick up the target, she came over and swung the coil and it came in very strong (she doesn't use headphones), I was surprised it hit as hard as it did. I showed her the mark/spot on the coil where the pinpoint sweet spot is and when we got done detecting she said to me when we were loading the detectors in the car I am starting to like this detector more. I think when the 8" coil arrives (Thursday) she will like it even better. As you all know I love my Tesoro's but there isn't a thing wrong with the Eurotek, it's a good little detector and I find it fun to use.

Glad you two had a fun outing. That's what its all about :)
I just got my replacement machine today. The weekend looks like good weather. I hope to get out and have some fun also.

Glad to hear you got your replacement, I hope its works great for you. I bet that you are itchy to try out the Eurotek, it's fun to use. Wishing you good weather over the weekend, let is know what you think of the E-tek (hope it is ok to call it that, lol).

Hi Steve, I'm glad your wife is starting to like her Eurotek Pro. I kinda figured it might grow on her the more she used it.
Was it a deep coin you had her swing her coil over? I think she will like the round 8 inch coil better than the bigger coil.

So far all I have got to do is test the Eurotek Pro in my yard and the iron field last sunday. No coins yet but hope that changes
if this blasted rain ever stops. After the test I did, I'm sure the detector will do great in a site with a normal amount of iron and trash.
