I'm really enjoying my new Vaq when I get time to hunt but here is my question.I ordered a silver acid testing kit of ebay and every thing that looks like it might be silver I test only for it to disappear under the solution. So I went into my silver collection and got out a standing liberty Quarter to test it and the same thing on several attempts:rant: I already had a gold testing kit I got years ago and have never had a problem with it.Im using the gold kit stone or what ever its called to scratch the silver stuff on.You think I got some bad acid:cry: or what? Thanks guys.HH

Those acids lose strength over time...gold and silver.
If you got old stock that could be the problem.
