Everyone came away a winner today.

Mattockman and RelicHunterBob came down to hunt with me today. A nicer pair of fellows you'll never meet.
I managed to skunk myself with a fist full of pull tabs and at least another one of just plain junk.
RelicHunterBob did quite well with a nice couple 1800s tools.
But Mattockman ruled the day...............and that's his story.
I would just like to say that this hobby has made me a little different kind of man. When you hunt with new friends. and It feels like you're hunting with old friends. That really says something for the hobby and the type of people in it.

First off Bob ...tell them why you decided to dig the pull tabs........and then I will tell them why I told you ...you should be digging the foil also......:smoke:.....I have a pic of my finds and they are not so good but I will post one of the hoard of digs ...but I got to get better pics of close ups....but not tonight...I am too tired.....will post in a.m......I found 3 rings at a soccer field......1 silver band....1, 10k with diamond....and 1, 10k with nice cut blue stone with 2 tiny chip diamonds......a 1946 wheat.......and the rest was a blurrrrrrrr.......I swetted a gallon of h2o and got sun burned.....I am the one who has to try harder than the rest....cause I am shorter and older....so it takes more out of me than the younger guys I hunt with......Bob is fun to be around and he is like me.....we both like to hunt and it is always better when you got good company to share it with........I hunted with Relic hunter bob and NH bob before and Relic bob always had the upper hand with the relic things and bob always just finds the old coins and I just find not much in Bobs land.....but today it was different.......I shine like GOLD!....and glittered like diamonds...... .........Obviously they are not big buck items but Dang!.......I finally felt good for a change.....I have not hunted in awhile and feel I am missing out on the fun.......thank God Bob had set some time aside for a couple of buds on the forum.....Thanks Bob and looking forward to new adventures again!.....Audreys was a good place to meet...the omlet was very good and so was the coffee...the waitresses were cute also.....

Bob, what you say is true, the forum is a great meeting place where we share our experiences...
But when you get to hang out with some of the gang; ~ you can't top that !

Great to see what a good time you all had!
Mattockman, being vertically challenged can have its advantages, you haven't got so far to go down to the ground!

Plus you guys shared in getting together and having a great omelet, good coffee, good company !

Oh ___ and as Mattockman said ~
...the waitresses were cute also.....

Blue stone 10 k ring 1.76g, Diamond 10k ring 2.06g, Silver ring 4.12g, and what looks to be a trinket from a necklace or bracelet charm...Sun on one side and Moon and stars on the other........Hey BOB....when are we gonna go to the OLD Coin fields........I am tired of digging gold rings!!.......

I am not sure SNOWY...I am no guru of stones....but its pretty :lmfao: ......the band is actually broke on that ....I am surprised it even gave a signal....the dirt must have held it together for it to touch.....as you may know, broken rings cannot be picked up by detecters.....
