"To put the world in order, we must first put the nation in order;
to put the nation in order, we must put the family in order;
to put the family in order, we must cultivate our personal life;
and to cultivate our personal life, we must first set our hearts right."

Confucius

So why do you place quotes from false profits on a forum mean for Christians? The best way to poison a king is to do it a little at a time! Our Country needs to repent and turn to God and Christians need to make a stand for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Period!

What Confucius didn't continue on to say is:

To get our hearts right we need to seek God!

Confucius obviously didn't care much for God so his heart wasn't right....and if one takes his messages and reverses them what does one get?

If your heart isn't right, you cannot cultivate your personal life
If we cannot cultivate our personal life, we cannot put our family in order
If we can't put our family in order, we cannot put a nation in order
If we can't put a nation in order, we cannot put a world in order.....Pretty much where the world is now eh?

But it all starts with God --> getting one's heart right --> etc.

Can't find the verse off the top of my head but it says that if someone cannot get his family in order how could he be trusted to get the church in order? Same thing...we have to get to God first, get our hearts right, etc.

So have to say Confucius might have some good thoughts but he failed to go to the Truth - God's Word to finish his teachings...and that makes it 'his' teachings not His teachings.

Love ya Steve.
