Picked up a new Excal 11 and was looking at the mounting holes where it clips to the rods. They all look like they are cracked or have stress marks, is this the way they come or what? Also decals seem to be loose toward middle toward the rod side? Any ideas. also any advise on battery options and cost for spare. Thanks.

I have the same machine, and have examined mine very closely, since I saw them too when it first came in. They are flow marks from where the plastic was cast, and cause no problems. Enjoy your new machine, it is AWESOME!!! HH Joe
