Excal II goes Quiet after 2 minutes any HELP

I just got it back from Minelab used it on a 3 hour hunt worked great .
the next day 1 hour into the hunt it went silent, if you turn it off for a few minutes, and then turn it on it works for only a few minutes then goes silent
I recharged the battery, did not work, tried a differant battery and it did the same thing.
has anyone had this problem and how was it solved

Ya I have heard this same thing before.Especially on repairs! Call them and raise hell! If its still a warranty issue they will make it right.

These repair issues on the newer machines is what keeps me buying older Minelab machines ...... Quality control , and components, must have been better back in the day ....You know , back when Minelab cared ....Jim

My excal 2 is working fine (Ireland) a old blue 1000 repaired 2 years ago still working fine. Give them a call, explain the situation & I am sure they will take care of you

I had that happen when I first got my Excal, and my first thought was "Oh sh!t!" But after giving it another twist it was fine.
