Anybody know where I can get the little yellow buttons that go on top of the knobs. I lost one today relic hunting. And where can you get the cam locks.

Excal parts?

Here's a link to a post I made a while back that shows a fairly popular mod for the Excal. If you are so inclined. Otherwise you will have to call Minelab to get a matching replacement for the others. The reason folks replace them is because they do tend to fall off. Mine never did but I did a pre-emptive strike.

No, sorry...I want to keep them so that if I ever DO want to put it back to full factory condition, I'll be able to.

Electronic Control Knobs theres lots of companies to chose from. The early Excal knobs were pointed and were much better.. Best would be knobs with stainless inserts and lockscrew...Good Luck Geo

I'm thinking like you're thinking but if you read his post, he only wants to replace the missing cover/disc insert that snaps into the original knob. The knobs I provided the link for do away with the insert, are smaller, and maybe look a little less like they were made by Mattel. And cheap too. But I can also respect that some folks want to keep things "all original", so...
