Excal Scuba Shaft

If any of you dive with your Excal II, which scuba shaft do you use and recommend?

I have been diving with one when I had one. I hip mounted it and just used a small piece of scrap plastic tube left over from some other detector to make a handle about 18" long. Hip mounting does keep it out of the way and you have to learn to change settings by feel rather than looking. However, you aren't swinging the electronics and the battery back and forth and then trying to lay it down in the muck, rocks, whatever, and worry about the control unit and the battery taking a pounding. jim

Thanks Jim! I decided to make my own and mount the controls on me out of the way.

This is what i do i have one for my infinium and one for my excal
i don't have a pic. for the excal but i guess you can get the idea
