Excalibur Civil War

This is a question for a person who has owned both the excal 1000 and xecal II I am a Minelab user having both Exp XS & Exp.II but my water machine is a Tesoro Tiger shark which I am going to sell and apply the fund towards a Excalibur. Like the Tigershark but not getting the depth I am use to compared to my Minelabs. Which is the user friendly the Excalibur 1000 or Excal II ( or in your opinion the better machine). Thanks.
 
I only have the Excal II but the controls are the same. I think the Excal II has better shielding from outside interference. I don't think you could go wrong with either one.........
