Excalibur Sensitivity Setting ?

Rarely not higher than 6 on the dial, and most often around 5/4. I just ran down and check the dial and its 4.5 and I 'll post a video of my last hunt. Remembering that this is the return signal not an output signal. In heavy iron conditions I get here on the Jersey Shore I run around 2 this causes the cone to narrow allowing the signal to get around the iron to the machine. Its an eye opener to use these settings and see just how they have little affect on depth.

Here in Fl it may be a little different since we have very little minerals. I run mine around 7 using the 10 inch coil. Ive tested it on a good many targets using less sensitivity..... but i do loose depth. Let me say also..... there is a difference in machines dont let anyone tell you differently. Some dont like to run high sensitivity because they get coil over load where the send coil affects the receive coils response.... making you loose depth.
