Excalibur sweep speed .

Would welcome some advice about a good sweep speed when using the excalibur , I had an XLT for years and used to be able to swing it at a fair speed but having only used the new excalibur 6 times ,I dont want to be missing out on any goodies by swinging it too fast , so far Ive been swinging it fairly slow , any advice guys ?
 
If you are detecting a clean beach without a lot of iron trash or mineralization you should be able to sweep pretty fast. If there is a lot of trash or iron minerals then slow way down so you can pick out the good targets. ~John
