Excited about XP Deus II

New old guy here. I started on this site over a decade ago as GibsonDan and then OhioCoinHunter. I have been a Minelab E-Trac guy. Love that detector, but it's a heavy beast. I need a lighter machine but don't want to get a Nox 800, which is a lesser machine in my opinion. I know many will disagree. The XP Deus II is a light machine and in videos appears to kick the Nox 800's butt in terms of performance. I am excited about it and look forward to getting one. It promises to be the detector that will bring me out of retirement. I am enjoying the early reviews. Happy Hunting
 
Hey Dan,
I've been a big FBS guy since they were first introduced way back when. That said, i've been sporting an 800 and Deus the last few years. My shoulder thanks me for retiring from my etrac. Lots of fond memories there. Lots of great finds.

The new Deus 2 is showing nicely. I really like my 2 current detectors, they've performed well for me, but, I see some great things with the Deus 2 and look forward to spending time in the field putting it through the paces.
