My new to me X-terra 50 is supposed to be in today and I have a great place to hunt. I have never owned a single frequency Minelab before however, I have had a couple of Explorers and an Excalibur in the past. Maybe I can sneak away a little early from work today and get a short hunt in before dark!!! I will be hunting a lot that my brother owns that had an old house on it that burned down. I took my X-3 out in the snow a few days ago and found the 1888 Mexican coin that I posted so I believe there should be some old silver there somewhere.

The X-50 will be lighter than the Explorer for sure.
The Explorer is an aawesome machine!

Go get the goodies with God's blessings for a great time of :detecting:  Ma Betty

I had the 50 and really liked it that is why i upgraded to the 70 . I wanted auto tracking and auto ground balance.

Hope you enjoy your new machine and find lots of good stuff!
