All new Explorer II packages will now come with a new style NiMH AA battery charger and 8 AA 1600mah NiMH batteries. This replaces the wall charger; car charger and 1600mah NiMH battery. These items, and the 1800mah battery are still available as optional accessories. Please be aware of this if your about to purchase a new Explorer II.
