I think it's a very nicely written piece of software - a very good job and I'm sure it took a lot of work. I'm wondering how realistic it is or does it just "sound" like it should, i.e., the physics equations for something like this are non-trivial if that's the path the author took. On the other hand approximations with some randomness added in around the edges will make it appear real, but it's not neccessarily what you will hear in the field. How does the author add the sounds for a new coin/relic when potentially swinging from any direction. Is he actually sampling the item with the detector and adding the sounds or representing it using equations?

Please don't get me wrong - I am not criticizing the program - it's a great program for sure - I'm just trying to understand a little more about it. Too bad we can simply load patterns from this program right into the Explorer.
